This project focuses on restoring degraded forest areas around the Mt. Kenya and Aberdare ecosystems through large-scale tree planting and agroforestry. Working with local farmers and youth groups, the initiative promotes planting indigenous trees alongside crops to improve soil fertility, increase biodiversity, and enhance water catchment areas. Similar projects in Kenya aim to plant millions of trees while creating jobs and improving livelihoods for surrounding communities.
